Lake:
Ruippo consists of ponds located next to a ridge area, surrounded by wetlands, dry pine forests, and swamps. The ponds are relatively shallow, and some are becoming overgrown due to eutrophication. Although the water Quality is moderately good thanks to springs, it is still stained by humus and acidic. The shores are covered with soft moss carpets.
Fishing:
The shallowest ponds occasionally suffer from oxygen depletion, making crucian carp common there. Some ponds have a good perch population, including large specimens. Pike can also grow to a significant size. One pond has been used to cultivate whitefish, and another was stocked with rainbow trout long ago, some of which may still remain.

Perch, Roach, Ruffe, Crucian carp, Whitefish, Rainbow trout, Pike
